Rules Interpretation
 
Coach Garry Sigle brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the clinic as not only a track & field coach and official but as a former standout runner. While in college he was a 4-time NAIA All-American twice in both cross country and track & field. He was also a 3-time Kansas State High School Track Champion.
 
Garry is currently the Head Boys and Girls Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at Riley County High School where he has coached for the past 25 years. His boys and girls CC Teams have each finished as state champions three times. He has coached the individual state cross country champion six times for the boys and seven times for the girls. He has had equal success on the track as well with his boys winning the state title in 1998 and the girls in 1999. His athletes have set eight state records in track & field. He is USATF Level II Certified in the throws. Garry was named the National Federation of State HS Activities Associations Section 5 Girls Track Coach of the Year in 1999, KCA Girls Track Coach of the Year in 1998 and KCA Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year in 1992.
 
Garry currently serves as Chairman of Cross Country for the Kansas Coaches Association and President of the Kansas Cross Country and Track & Field Coaches Association.
 
Coach Sigle has been the meet director at numerous track & field meets as well as serving as the Head Field Event Referee multiple times at both the NJCAA National Indoor Championships and the AAU Region VIII Track & Field Championships.
