At Marshfield high school, Rick Siebert has been a teacher of mathematics for 30 years, and a track official for 26 years. In addition, Siebert bore responsibility as a football and track & field coach for 15 years, and also served as the athletic director for 14 years. He also taught mathematics for 5 years at Ozark Technical Community College.Siebert has twice worked as a starter for the Missouri class 3A and class 4A state track & field meets. For the past several years, Siebert has volunteered as a track & field rules interpreter for the state of Missouri.
